Affiliate Disclosure
ResellBazaar (resellbazaar.in) is a brand owned and operated by Decipher Consultancy Services, a sole proprietorship registered in Haryana, India. This page explains our commercial relationships transparently, in accordance with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) Code, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and international best practice (FTC 16 CFR Part 255, EU Digital Services Act).
1. What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a URL that contains a unique tracking identifier. When you click one and complete a qualifying action (usually a purchase) on the destination site, the destination site pays us a small commission — at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had reached the destination directly without our link.
2. Our affiliate partners
As of the last updated date, we participate in the following affiliate programmes:
- Amazon Associates (India) — links to product listings on amazon.in for used, refurbished, and renewed devices. When you buy a qualifying product after clicking one of our Amazon links, we earn a small commission.
- Cashify affiliate programme — links to Cashify's refurbished-device listings and Cashify's device-selling flow. Applicable to a small subset of our articles.
We disclose participation in each of these programmes explicitly, and any article containing an affiliate link is either flagged inline or covered by this general disclosure.
3. Editorial independence
The most important thing on this page: our editorial recommendations are not influenced by our affiliate relationships. Specifically:
- Rankings and comparisons ("top 5 refurbishers", "iPhone vs Android for used") are ordered by our editorial judgement based on user value, not by commission rates
- We do not accept payment for placement in comparison articles
- We do not accept payment to remove, hide, or de-emphasise unfavourable coverage of any product or platform
- Where an affiliate link exists on a product we recommend against, the link remains as-is — we don't hide it, but the recommendation is still to avoid the product
- Less than 6% of our published articles currently contain any affiliate link
4. What we do NOT do
- Sponsored articles disguised as reviews — never
- Paid rankings — never; the top of a list is never for sale
- Native ads (paid content styled to look editorial) — never
- Undisclosed affiliate relationships — every affiliate relationship is listed on this page
- Data-selling — we do not sell your personal data to any advertiser or affiliate partner (see our Privacy Policy)
- Push notifications — for anything, ever
5. How we make money (full breakdown)
- Amazon Associates commissions — a small fraction of revenue, from qualifying purchases via our Amazon links
- Cashify affiliate commissions — small; from qualifying refurbished device purchases or selling-flow completions
- Display advertising — traditional banner ads served via a third-party ad network. These are clearly distinguishable from editorial content
- Valuation calculator licensing — we license the underlying logic of our valuation calculator to refurbishment businesses under a separate commercial agreement. This is currently our main revenue source
6. Cookies and tracking related to affiliates
When you click an affiliate link on our website, the destination platform may set a cookie in your browser that tracks whether you complete a purchase (this is how they attribute the sale to us). We do not receive any personal data about you from this cookie — only aggregated commission reports. See our Privacy Policy for full cookie details.

If you're ever unsure whether a specific article, link, or recommendation involves an affiliate relationship, please ask us at support@resellbazaar.in. We will tell you plainly, and if we discover our disclosure was insufficient on a specific piece, we will add clarifying text and (where relevant) a dated correction note.
